The 2008 annual exhibition took place in the Old Assembly Building / Northern Bank during early June. The exhibition space was in central Belfast and a record number of visitors attended during the two week run. President Ivor Coburn was delighted with the response to the new venue and he said “This has been a superb exhibition, probably the best ever, with an excellent level of both attendance and sales”. Leslie Hughes was awarded the Haughton Trophy for best in show, with other awards going to Anthony Loughran, Mairead Holohan, Grahame Booth and Aileen Hull.

 

There will be a UWS exhibition at the an Grainan Theatre, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal in November / December 2008. Details to follow.
