Maeve Doherty

Maeve’s work is meditative and reflective and her skills have been developed over many years. She likes to paint atmospheric landscapes and romantic figurative work using textured French watercolour paper to emphasise the pigment she uses. Maeve’s paintings have won awards and have been featured on RTE and the Irish Arts Review magazine. Her work is in many private and public collections worldwide, including President Mary McAleese and the US and Irish government collections. Commissions also include book illustrations.
