Elizabeth studied Printed Textiles and Bookbinding at Belfast College of Art before obtaining an Art Teachers Diploma at Reading University. She taught in Belfast for 13 years before leaving to concentrate on painting, specializing in botanical and other natural subjects. Elizabeth is a member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists, the Society of Botanical Artists and is an Academician of the Royal Ulster Academy. She exhibits widely in Northern Ireland and London and has regular solo shows at the Bay Tree Gallery, Holywood.
