A love of flowers inspires Hilary’s paintings which are at times nearly botanical representations of a wide variety of plants. She also paints still life but even then flowers are usually involved. Hilary is mainly self taught, but with the help and influence of Elizabeth McEwen. She is also a member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists and although she has featured in solo and group shows now paints mainly to commission.
