The recent exhibition entitled ‘Light in Nature’ in Lisburn Island Arts gallery N.Ireland illustrated effectively his range of work and subject matter. The exhibition included large Watercolours –semi-botanical- of Flowers up to 41x30” in one gallery, and in the other, a collection of Oils where the subject matter is French or Irish and the difference in colour and light can be clearly seen. The next exhibition on 21st March 2003 in the Kenny Gallery Galway, is 50/50 oils of Connemara, some as large as 30 x 44” and a selection of water-colours from 18x15” to 41x30”.

Ivor taught art in a Northern Ireland grammar school and he is a member of the Watercolour Society of Ireland, a founder member of the Society of Botanical Artists and an associate of the Royal Ulster Academy. His commercial design clients include Boots, Tesco, Sainsburys, Fison and B&Q. He has exhibited throughout Europe and his work has been selected for the Royal Academy.

Among the many awards are ;The perpetual Gold medal ,Royal Ulster Academy, Six Gold Medals from The Royal Horticultural Society and a variety of Silver Gilt and Silver medals etc
