Born in Kilkenny, Mairead now lives and works in Dranagh, Co. Carlow. She trained at the National College of Art and Design and is a busy tutor, teaching adult evening classes in watercolour for the VEC in Kilkenny city and county. She also runs private classes for adults and children from her own studio. Mairead has exhibited in numerous group and solo shows and is a regular exhibitor in Kennedy’s, Harcourt Street, Dublin
