Pat Leckey was born in Yorkshire and lived between the Yorkshire Dales and Ilkley Moor until marrying and moving to Lisburn. She paints Ireland in all weathers, taking particular interest in light and atmosphere and she often finishes the painting in her studio in order to portray her own personal experience of the subject. Flowers are another favourite subject. Pat has exhibited in all of the major group shows in Northern Ireland and also in the Mall Galleries, London.
