How do I apply for membership of the Society?Membership is by selection and will next take place in 2022. You must submit 3 framed and 3 unframed pieces of work in transparent watercolour, pen and wash, or gouache.Acceptance will entitle the applicant to Associate membership of the society for a period of three years, during which time their work must have been selected for those years' annual exhibitions. After this period full membership of the Society will be offered.There is a non-refundable submission fee of £15.00The annual membership fee will be due on acceptance.It is beneficial but not essential to take digital photographs of one's work which may be sent with an initial enquiry. These can also be most useful to galleries prior to exhibitions for the possible inclusion in a catalogue or publicity material. What mediums are acceptable?Watercolour, Gouache and Pen & WashWhere can I see exhibitions?There is an annual exhibition that normally runs in October or November. Details will be on the home page and on FacebookDo you offer watercolour tutoring?The society does not organise classes but there are many members of the society who run private and public watercolour classes.
