The Ulster Watercolour Society represents most of the major watercolour artists working in the province of Ulster. The society was formed in 1976 to promote watercolour in the province and beyond and there are now over 90 members from all over Ireland, 6 of whom are honorary members.  Admission to the society is by selection and this normally takes place each year, at the Annual General Meeting. Details on membership can be found on the FAQs page

At the 2019 AGM, Honorary membership was unanimously conferred on Leslie Hughes who served the society as treasurer for over 20 years. After the meeting five new members were selected: Denise Ferran Jude Fenton Jean Jing George Killough Libby Mulqueeny
